I am sitting here patiently (well not really patient) waiting for my friend Leslie to pick me up for what is set to be an amazing weekend in Las Vegas!!
We are going to have 5 glorious days of shopping, gambling, good food and good fun....JUST THE TWO OF US!!!

I can't wait......let the days of no parenting begin!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone, the weather in Edmonton is supposed to be fantastic!

Easter

Easter weekend has long come and gone and I apologize for taking so long to update. It amazes me sometimes how life just flies by so quickly. This year we had another amazing weekend with Uncle Justin, Auntie Tara and my beautiful niece Claire. The kids played and played and played!!! Uncle Justin took Max to Toysrus to pick out a belated bday present and he chose the largest nerf gun EVER!! It holds 35 darts and he quite enjoys shooting them all at once from the top of the stairs!!! Everywhere you look in this house there is a nerf dart.
Easter morning, the kids had scavenger hunt clues to find things. The adults giggled when the girls got stumped (we thought we were so smart) and it was pretty cute when Max found stuff the Easter bunny hid in Daddy's underwear drawer!

It was a great weekend and I was so sad watching their truck drive away on Monday morning. I miss my brother's humor, my sister-in law's kindness and love and especially I miss my nieces sweetness!! Can't wait to see them again this summer.

The Great Ladybug hunt!

I am absolutely LOVING spring break! We had Carter and Luca come and spent the day with us and the kids had the most amazing day. Not a single fight, not a single tear....just plenty of giggles. Its so nice to not have any fighting on playdates, its happened in the past (not with C & L) and it can be so stressful.
The weather has been quite nice so the kids decided to play in the backyard which in turn started the "great ladybug hunt".
It was the 5 year olds against their older siblings with the younger ones coming out on top. I believe Max said they caught a billion and Luca said...no, 7 billion. Too cute!
Here are some pics of each of them with their very first ladybugs.

Signs of Spring

Up until yesterday, almost all of our snow had melted and we were averaging +7 degress outside. The kids and I played outside most of the weekend and it was so much fun. Max loved playing hockey and riding his bike and Sarah was really loving her new skipping rope. I just absolutely love seeing the smiles on their faces because they are so happy to be outside.

Now lets hope the snow we got in the last two days will melt again really fast so that we can play outside again this weekend.

Have a great week everyone!

Love T.

I managed to get 7 new layouts done this weekend. Quentin was away skiing in Fernie for a Stag so I had some free time. I had a great friend join me on Friday night and I got 5 layouts done and then I did another 2 on Saturday night with Sarah.
